Mission Statement
Jackets for Jobs, Inc. Michigan WORKS!
Affiliate
strives to empower economically
disadvantaged individuals who are trained and job
ready by enhancing their employment
opportunities. We provide professional
clothing and training seminars to build
self-confidence and prepare them to
successfully enter the work force.
The Operation
Jackets for
Jobs, Inc. Michigan WORKS! Affiliate is a non profit corporation that provides
interview-quality, professional business
clothing at no charge to economically
disadvantaged individuals in the Metropolitan
Detroit Area. Jackets for Jobs, Inc.
Michigan WORKS! Affiliate is operated by
dedicated volunteers providing our clients
with an additional tool to enhance their
marketable skills, professional clothing.
Volunteers act as personal shoppers to help
each client select the most appropriate
clothing and accessories available. All
clients receive one free, fully accessorized
business outfit for job interviews, plus two
outfits when a job is secured.

We accept suits, shirts, blouses, shoes, jewelry,
scarves, purses, unopened panty hose.
Clothing should be clean and on hangers.
Clothing donations will be accepted Monday
thru Fridays from 9am to 3pm and Saturdays
by appointment.
We are a 501(c)3 organization
