For every $50 we raise, one more woman will receive a new suit for her job interview. Every suit will have a new story to tell. Stories of hope, determination and opportunity!

Consider a donation of $50 to provide someone the opportunity they need to write the next chapter of their life … their own success story.

Our Services Improve Lives.

  • 87% are earning over minimum wage and 46% are working in positions with advancement potential and are above entry level.

  • After 6 months, 57% of women are no longer dependent on welfare, resulting in a $19 million savings to taxpayers.

  • And 30% are successful in keeping their jobs for over 3 months, allowing them to progress into a new career, not just a job.

Consider a donation of $50 to provide someone the opportunity they need to write the next chapter of their life … their own success story.

Jackets for Jobs, Inc relies on clothing donations to ensure we have the inventory to appropriately dress our clients for work. Our clients often leave our shop to go directly to an interview. For this reason, please follow our clothing donation guidelines:

All clothing must be clean, dry-cleaned, washed or ironed and on a hanger. This ensures that it will arrive at our shop without wrinkles. (Some of our clients do not have irons, and they can not afford dry-cleaning at this time).

Clothing must be in good condition, with no stains, moth holes, buttons missing, rips or tears, or broken zippers.

Clothing must be in current style and suitable for the workplace. We always need basic colors such as black, brown, navy, and white. In addition to suits, jackets, shirts, and dresses, we greatly appreciate accessories such as shoes, belts, jewelry, handbags, and unopened cosmetics. We have a special need for coats, umbrellas and plus-sized suits for women and big and tall suits for men.

Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowable by law. Tax receipts are provided at intake.
